Grand Opening Event and Open House at Corners Outreach

Corners Outreach is dedicated to breaking cycles of generational poverty and fostering community strength in metro Atlanta. 

Corners Outreach will welcome the public to its grand opening event on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 1854 Shackleford Rd suite 100 in Norcross. The event will commence at 2:30 p.m., followed by a special ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3 p.m. Guests can then take guided tours of the center’s programs, beginning at 3:45 p.m.

Corners Outreach is dedicated to breaking cycles of generational poverty and fostering community strength in metro Atlanta. Their mission is to empower underserved students of color and their families through educational development and economic opportunities.

Corners Academy:  Established in 2012, Corners Academy offers free summer enrichment programs and educational support to over 1,050 students across 22 schools in Gwinnett and DeKalb counties. Notable achievements include a 35% increase in student test scores and a 15% rise in graduation rates.

Corners Industries:  Launched in 2018, Corners Industries provides stable employment opportunities to parents of Corners students, with a focus on leveraging existing skillsets such as lawncare and sewing. In 2021 alone, the nonprofit organization disbursed over $1,000,000 in wages through their workforce development initiatives.
