AI and Industry Leadership Shine at Gwinnett Movers and Makers Awards

Seven companies honored for manufacturing and supply chain excellence

Partnership Gwinnett hosted its 14th annual Movers and Makers Awards on April 24 at The Westin Atlanta Gwinnett. The event celebrated the companies and leaders driving innovation and growth across Gwinnett’s advanced manufacturing and supply chain sectors.

This year’s program featured keynote remarks from Ron Norris, AI visionary, retired director of innovation at Georgia-Pacific and CEO of Advanced Innovation Management. He was joined by Dr. Joshua Thomason, executive director of TrekAI at Greater Atlanta Christian School.

Together, they shared insights on how AI is transforming workforce training and operational efficiency across industries.

The event also recognized outstanding achievements through seven award categories:

Most Valuable Provider Award – TRC Talent Solutions

Corporate Citizen Award – Porter Steel

Supply Chain Pioneer Award (2 categories)

  • Small Business (1–39 employees) – Souto Foods
  • Large Business (40+ employees) – McKesson Corporation

Manufacturer of the Year Award (3 categories)

  • Small Business (1–39 employees) – ULTRAVIEW Archery
  • Medium Business (40–99 employees) – beMatrix
  • Large Business (100+ employees) – Viasat
